TDA-4B Aerosol generator
The Laskin nozzle atomizer produces submicron oil mist suspended particles of various diameters at concentrations ranging from 10 to 100 micrograms per liter at flow rates ranging from 50 to 8,100 cubic feet per minute (pressure at 20 psi).
Suspended particle generators and photometers are used for integrity testing or leak source testing in highly efficient air filtration systems. Filter manufacturers use the device to scan ULPA and HEPA filters to validate their products. The filter demonstrator USES this device to verify that the filter has not been damaged in transit and is properly installed without any leakage.
With the right combination of suspended particle generators and photometers, some deficiencies of filters, such as pinholes, thin spots, gasket leakage, structural leakage or sealing problems, can be quickly and quantitatively detected and corrected to protect products and personnel.
The tda-4b suspension particle generator and tda-4b Lite features improvements in several areas, such as a rugged stainless steel construction, large loading ports, independent nozzle control, and a standard 3-inch sanitary connector output. An optional hose adapter is provided for importing suspended particles into the positive pressure system. The tda-4b is the company's latest durable, lightweight, compact and compact aerosol generator. All it takes is a supply of clean compressed air to produce a variety of submicron particles.
The tda-4b aerosol generator has six nozzles, and when it is diluted at 20PSI into 810 cubic feet of air per minute, the gas concentration is about 100 micrograms per liter. Three valves allow the instrument to operate between one and six nozzles, providing a wide range of airborne particle concentrations.
