Many people will habitually place the ventilation equipment in the corner, far away from the experimental place, which occupies the place of other experimental furniture.

In fact, this idea is wrong, no matter how much space the ventilation equipment, it should be placed in the nearest place to the test bed, the most important is the fume hood as close to the window as possible, so that the pipe is easy to drain to the outside, the shorter the pipe exhaust effect is better.

In general, the ventilator should be placed closest to the test bed, because every time the toxic gas or dust is generated from the test bed, this is the first and most seriously polluted "disaster area". We should always have the safety awareness of nip in the bud and take various preventive measures at any time. Although the large ventilation equipment covers a large area, the ventilation effect is also very good.

The height of the conventional fume hood is 2350mm, so the height of the laboratory where the fume hood is installed should not be lower than the clear height of 2900mm. The fume hood duct is generally 250mm in diameter or 200mm in diameter. Of course, the exhaust effect of the thicker duct is better and the noise is relatively low. When the fume hood is installed and the exhaust hole is opened, the normal size is the center point 2700mm above the ground, and the front and rear distance is about 450mm.
