What should be noted in the air volume measurement of the air volume hood:







1. The size of the hood (tuyere size) : the large difference between the size of the hood and tuyere will cause a large measurement error, so it is necessary to use the hood with similar size to tuyere for measurement. According to the size and area of the tuyere to be measured, the air volume hood body that is close to the tuyere area shall be selected, and the length of the long side of the air volume hood body shall not exceed 3 times the length of the long side of the tuyere; The area of the tuyere should not be less than 15% of the boundary area of the cover.







2. Check whether the air volume meter is normal, and make all Settings of the air volume meter meet the requirements.







3. Determine the position of the cover body to cover the tuyere. The tuyere should be located in the middle of the cover body, and the whole tuyere should be covered by the wind cover.







4. Ensure that there is no air leakage at the tuyere, observe the display value of the air volume meter, and read the air volume value after the display value tends to be stable;







5. Back pressure compensation when the air volume in the tuyere is large, the resistance of the air volume hood and the throttle of the measured part to the tuyere will increase, resulting in a large decrease in the air volume. In order to eliminate the air volume in the tuyere in this part is small, back pressure compensation is required. When the air volume value is 1500 m3 /h, no back pressure compensation is needed. When the air volume is >1500 m3 /h, the backpressure compensation baffle is used for backpressure compensation, and the wind volume value measured after the wind outlet compensation is read from the wind volume meter.
