Analysis of Maintenance Malfunctions and Calibration Methods for Carbon Dioxide Incubators

Due to the significant influence of usage environment and conditions, CO2 incubators are generally equipped with calibration and zero adjustment on the panel. Regardless of the type of product, calibration work should be carried out after the temperature and humidity inside the box have stabilized.
1. Temperature calibration:
Some products have completed temperature calibration before leaving the factory, and the calibration components are installed on the control board inside the box. Users should not make further adjustments. For products with calibration and fine-tuning on the panel, a precision thermometer can be placed inside the box at a temperature close to the cultivation temperature (such as 37 ℃). After the temperature stabilizes, observe the thermometer reading. If it does not match the displayed value, adjust the fine-tuning to make it attached.
Calibration steps for temperature:
① Place an accurate glass tube mercury thermometer inside the incubator to calibrate the set temperature. Meanwhile, place an accurate thermometer to calibrate the maximum temperature.
② Adjust the temperature knob to the desired temperature of 37 ℃.
③ Turn the extreme temperature knob to the maximum. Wait for 24 hours for the machine to reach stability.
④ If the temperature has not reached 37 ℃ yet, adjust the temperature knob to 37 ℃ and wait for another 24 hours for the machine to finally reach stability.
⑤ After the incubator stabilizes at 37 ℃, turn the limit temperature knob counterclockwise until the indicator light of the limit temperature knob lights up.
⑥ Carefully turn the extreme temperature knob clockwise until the indicator light just goes out.
Attention: During normal operation of the machine, its maximum temperature indicator light should remain off.
