The selection method of vegetable seed germination equipment is introduced as follows.
1、 Select equipment capacity and temperature control accuracy
At present, the germination equipment on the market includes wall insulated germination rooms and insulated soft sheds, with a planting capacity of several thousand liters or more, which can be used for large-scale seedling bases. A floor standing artificial climate chamber with fully computer-controlled temperature, humidity, lighting, and ventilation is used for germination, seedling cultivation, tissue culture, and periodic cultivation, suitable for laboratory use. The temperature control accuracy is represented by temperature deviation and its fluctuation. The precision of digital temperature controllers is relatively high, with a deviation and fluctuation of about ± 0.5 ℃.
2、 Pay attention to the humidity in the germination room
Due to low humidity, seeds are difficult to germinate, and high humidity can easily rot. Therefore, high-end climate chambers are equipped with humidity control devices, which can maintain a relative humidity between 60% and 85%. However, simple germination equipment does not have a humidity control device, and its humidity is usually ensured by two measures: one is to use an electric heating tube to directly boil water and generate steam to heat the germination chamber, and its relative humidity changes little with temperature, generally maintaining at 60% to 85%.
