Requirements to be met when installing all steel biosafety cabinets include:
1. Altitude. The atmospheric pressure at different altitudes is different, which may affect normal operation. Therefore, the installation location will be limited by the altitude. Generally, the normal operating altitude is 2000 meters. When the altitude of the installation location exceeds the design range, the commissioning of wind speed and other performance shall be carried out on site.
2. Temperature and humidity. The installed room shall have temperature and humidity control. Generally, the temperature shall be 15 ℃ - 40 ℃, and the relative humidity shall not exceed 90%.
3. Floor. The installed floor shall be flat, firm and fire-resistant.
4. Room. The installed room shall be high enough. For the safety cabinet for indoor ventilation, its top shall be at least 20cm away from the ceiling of the room after installation, so as not to affect the ventilation of the safety cabinet. For the safety cabinet with sleeve connection or sealing connection, there should be enough height to install the connecting pipes and related parts.
5. Power supply and socket. There should be a power supply that can meet the operation of the safety cabinet. The change of voltage superior to the power supply will affect the airflow mode. If necessary, a voltage regulator with wide voltage fluctuation shall be installed.
6. Supply and exhaust air. If the room is equipped with air supply and exhaust system, the setting of air supply and exhaust outlets shall not affect the normal function during operation, especially the inward air flow of the front operation port. The air change rate of the room is generally required to be no less than 12 times per hour.
